Sandra Gutiérrez is a Medical Ayurvedic Specialist and Faculty of the California College of Ayurveda in Nevada City, California where she teaches Ayurvedic Medicine – Nutrition, Herbalism, Chronic Diseases of the Endocrine, Immune and Musculoskeletal Systems, Cardiology, Diseases & Treatment of the Ears, Eyes, Nose and Throat and Co-leads the Medical Ayurvedic Specialist Internship. As Co-lead of the Medical Ayurvedic Specialist Internship, Ms. Gutiérrez is involved in program development, intern supervision, program teaching and intern patient case management. In her private practice, Ms. Gutiérrez sees patients online and in-person.

Ms. Gutiérrez completed her Ayurvedic studies at the California College of Ayurveda and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of California at Davis. As an Ayurvedic Practitioner she utilizes ancient traditional healing methods and education to address the root cause of imbalances in the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Ms. Gutiérrez’s approach is gentle and offers wisdom, compassion and enthusiasm. Her intention is to empower her patients and students to draw out and promote innate health by aligning with the rhythms of nature. Ms. Gutiérrez’s specialties include auto-immune conditions, digestive disturbances, emotional imbalances and stress-reduction. Her personal interests include backpacking, dancing, cooking healthy homemade meals and making her own floral sun oils as a hobby.
